Euphoria

When I am with you,
I feel that my world is right.
I hear the song of birds again,
The wine has a taste of rich grape.

The leaves embrace a color this fall
Richer than I have ever seen.
As if painted with the blood of
The love I have in my heart for you.

There are stars in the night skies
Which seem to twinkle just for me.
I gaze, I see it in your eyes,
This light, which sets my love free.

My emotions are euphoric;
Thoughts of you race endlessly;
To touch your soft skin,
To hear your sweet voice.

Look deep within my heart my love;
I am sure you will see your reflection.
My heart is swimming in an ocean and
With every wave, I feel your caress.
